There's no shortage of carpet cleaners in Cleveland, from the coupon-in-the-mailbox outfits to the big franchises. Here's how we work, and a few things we won't do.
The price on the phone is the price
You've probably seen the $99 whole-house special that somehow turns into $400 once they're standing in your living room. We don't do that. We ask how many rooms and what's going on with them, and give you a real number. If something changes when we see it, we tell you before we start.
We rinse the soap out
If your carpet looked great for a week after the last cleaning and then got dirty fast, there was soap left in it. Soap residue is sticky, and sticky carpet holds dirt. We finish every job with a rinse pass. It takes longer, and it's the main reason our carpets stay clean.
We'll tell you what won't come out
Bleach spots, burns, sun fading and old pet stains that have dyed the fibers. We'd rather say so before we start than have you notice after we've left.
We're from here
Here at Forest City Carpet Cleaning, we're a small, locally owned crew. We know the salt crust by the front door in February, the basement rec room that smells a little musty every August, and the narrow stairs in old Cleveland doubles, because we've cleaned hundreds of all three. A good share of our calls come from neighbors of people we've already cleaned for, and we'd like to keep it that way.
What we won't do
- Push a "protector" add-on you didn't ask for.
- Leave your carpet soaking wet.
- Clean something we think we'll make worse.
- Ask you to sign up for a plan or a membership.
We show up in the window we give you. And if a spot comes back after we've left, call us and we'll come back and take another run at it.
